Jack Raymond | Mr Know It All Album Launch | 2 October at 6:30pmAfter a year spent performing from the Kimberley to Kings Canyon, folk, roots and blues artist Jack Raymond returns to Noosa to celebrate the release of his new album, Mr Know It All.
A finalist in the Australian National Busking Championships and a familiar face on festival stages including Woodford Folk Festival, Gympie Muster, Wintermoon and Tamworth Country Music Festival, Jack has built a reputation for honest songwriting, captivating storytelling and performances that leave audiences feeling connected long after the final song.
Mr Know It All is Jack’s most personal work to date. Exploring family, relationships, self reflection and the stories that shape who we become, the album features recent singles Hollow Trees, Prisoner and Ships in the Night. These are songs born from real life, told with warmth, humour and a deep sense of place.
The evening will open with special performances from two outstanding local songwriters.
Daryl James is an award nominated multi instrumentalist whose music fuses soulful blues with the raw Celtic roots of his North Wales homeland. Armed with an array of stringed instruments, foot percussion and a gift for storytelling, his captivating live performances have earned him a reputation as one of the region’s most compelling roots artists.
Ryan Tracey brings a warm blend of folk, indie and rock, delivered through heartfelt songwriting and soulful performances. As both a songwriter and producer, Ryan’s music balances rich melodies with an honest, stripped back approach that connects deeply with audiences.
Following these special guest performances, Jack will take the stage to perform songs from Mr Know It All, joined throughout the evening by a number of special guest musicians who have shared in the journey of the album’s creation.
More than an album launch, this is a celebration of community, collaboration and the stories that connect us.
