But first…
they need to rehearse. Or at least, that's how it begins. Step inside what appears to be an intimate rehearsal where Michael & Joy are preparing for the show they dream of one day taking to the world's great stages. There are lines to remember, ideas to explore and stories to practise. But these two have never been particularly good at staying on script. One story sparks another. A memory appears unexpectedly. Magic slips into the conversation. Sacred sounds fill the space. Laughter gives way to vulnerability, and the wonderfully different ways Michael & Joy see the world begin to reveal something deeper.
Because Michael & Joy don't simply tell stories.They show them. They step inside them, play with them, question them and sometimes discover their meaning right there in the moment. And somewhere between love and loss, masculine and feminine, laughter and tears, Mind and Heart, something begins to shift. The rehearsal starts disappearing. The stories become the show. And perhaps, without quite realising it, your story has entered the room too. Because beneath all the laughter, magic and beautiful unpredictability is an exploration of something we all share: How do we navigate a life that rarely goes according to plan? How do we listen to the Mind without losing the Heart? How do we love through loss, remain open through uncertainty, keep dreaming after disappointment — and somehow find the courage to keep showing up for this extraordinary life? Michael & Joy aren't coming to give you the answers. They're coming to share the stories that helped them discover their own.
