Ishq Jale Toh Jale Aesa
The play is a poignant amalgamation of romance, longing, heartbreak, and hope. It revolves around the extraordinary relationship between Amrita Pritam, the celebrated Punjabi author and poet, and Imroz, the renowned painter.
Imroz is deeply and unconditionally in love with Amrita, while Amrita`s heart belongs to the legendary poet Sahir Ludhianvi. Despite knowing that his love may never be reciprocated, Imroz never expects anything in return. His love is one-sided, yet pure, selfless, and unwavering.
As time passes, Sahir leaves the world, and Amrita grows old and physically frail. However, Imroz`s devotion to her remains unchanged. His love transcends time, loss, and circumstances, standing as a rare example of unconditional affection.
Enriched with soulful Urdu couplets and lyrical language, Ishq Jale Toh Jale Aesa is a timeless tale of love that celebrates the beauty of loving without expectations. It reminds today`s generation that true love is not about possession or reciprocation, but about cherishing every little moment shared with the one you love.
