A full-day retreat for anyone curious about sound healing. Whether you're weighing up training, or you simply want to play the instruments.About this Event
Join me at Seven Sisters Sanctuary for a full day of sound exploration for anyone curious about sound healing.
Whether that curiosity is "I think I want to train in this" or "I just want to play a gong without committing to a whole diploma to find out if I even like it."
With only 8 spaces you'll receive plenty of hands on time to explore and have fun with a wide variety of instruments including:
Crystal singing bowls, planetary and wind gongs, monochord, tongue drum, deep ocean drum, tubular chimes, bufalo drum, Himalayan singing bowls, wah wah pipes, rain stick, sound FX & looping.
This experience is open to everyone, whether you are completely new or already have some experience and would like to delve deeper into the world of therapeutic sound.
The day includes:
- A grounded introduction to what sound healing is and why it affects the nervous system the way it does.
- An honest look at the different paths into this work professionally, sound bath facilitator, sound therapist, gong practitioner etc for anyone weighing up training.
- Personal practice, how to incorporate a sound practice into your daily life as a meditation tool or simply a way to alleviate stress, clear your mind and introduce more play and creativity into your life.
- Light lunch, teas and snacks included
- A full 60-minute sound meditation, guided by Michelle
- Hands-on instrument time: technique, safe handling, and space to explore the instruments yourself.
- Guidance on how to choose instruments that resonate with you and work together harmonically as a set.
- A closing circle to reflect and ask questions about the experience, or about where to go next if this is the start of a new path for you either personally or professionally.
Who this is for: anyone curious about sound healing and therapeutic sound, whether that curiosity is personal or professional. No experience or musical background needed.
Details: 10:30am–5:30pm, £175, lunch included. Limited to 8 people, so everyone gets real time with the instruments.
