Saturday, October 24, 9am-12pmNature journaling is a practice that can help you learn faster, connect more deeply with nature, and regulate your nervous system. In this 3-hour interactive workshop, Instructor Marley Peifer will share the simple yet revolutionary approaches at the core of nature journaling. While using drawings, words and numbers to observe the plants and organic garden at San Diego Craft Collective, students will also learn how these techniques can play a role in mental health, attention management, community science, transferable skill-building and behavior change. Students need to bring a notebook or sketch book (even a few sheets of lined paper are fine), a pen and/or pencil (colors aren’t as important for this workshop), and your curiosity. Leave with sketches and notes tracing your learning adventure.
No experience necessary. Ages 13+ welcome.
