About this Event
NTERWOVEN / ПЕРЕПЛЕТЕННЯ is a free participatory art event where people, ideas and stories intertwine.
Throughout the day, you can join in collective weaving with recycled textiles, listen to live bandura music, enjoy Ukrainian food and watch the film Borscht of the Future.
No weaving experience is needed, and all materials will be provided. You are welcome to join at any time during the day and stay for as long as you wish.
Everything we create together will become part of a collective textile installation. The exhibition will open on 24 November at 17:00 and continue from 24 to 26 November.
The project introduces the local communities of Colindale, Burnt Oak and West Hendon to Ukrainian culture through shared making, music, food and conversation.
