Join us this International Day of Peace for a special community Open House focused on the importance of human rights education as a foundation for peace, dignity and mutual understanding.
Observed annually by the United Nations, International Day of Peace is dedicated to strengthening the ideals of peace among all nations and peoples.
This inspiring event will highlight the work of United for Human Rights and Youth for Human Rights International, educational initiatives dedicated to increasing awareness and implementation of the 30 human rights outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Guests will explore how education, dialogue and community action can help reduce conflict, strengthen communities and promote a culture of peace locally and globally.
