Bio:
Adrienne Wells is an actor and singer/songwriter from Detroit, MI. As a child of the Motown sound, she grew up listening to Gladys Knight, Marvin Gaye, and the Marvelettes just as much as the 90's R&B of her childhood. She started singing in church at 10 years old, and went on to perform as a background artist in Philadelphia while pursuing her undergraduate degree in Theater. After spending a few years away from music to develop her acting career, she moved to LA to be on the SHOWTIME hit TV show Black Monday playing opposite Don Cheadle and Regina Hall playing the role of a young upcoming recording artist. This led her on a journey to reconnect with music and officially move to New York City to pursue a solo singing career. You can follow her journey on Instagram at @adriennewells
