About this Event
At Harris City Academy Crystal Palace we believe “All can Achieve”. Students work hard to achieve their individual best academically and to develop the self-confidence and sense of purpose necessary for success in a global society. We have 42.3% of pupils on FSM and 2.3% on EHCPs and yet 56% of all pupils achieve both English and Maths GCSE at grade 5 and 42% of our disadvantaged pupils, reducing the attainment gap to 14%. Pupil attendance sits at 94.3% and the suspension rate is 6.2%.
Our most recent Ofsted inspection was graded outstanding in 2025 and the report states: “One phrase sums up the school’s excellence” consistent high quality” and “Whether it is aspirational curriculum, pupils’ personal development or their readiness for the next stage, pupils’ achievements including for disadvantaged pupils, are consistently excellent.” This consistency of practice has led to sustainable improvement over time.
Harris City Academy has always been forward -thinking and was the first of now 54 Academies within the Harris Federation. Pupils at Harris Federation are twice as likely to go to Russell Group Universities and 150 Harris pupils, almost all from under-represented backgrounds, have taken up Oxbridge places over the past four years.
