About this Event
We’re bringing together a panel of speakers from across the UK to discuss how we can improve care systems and protect care rights.
Panellists will speak from different viewpoints on this topic, including sharing their professional and personal perspectives of using the media, law and campaigning to bring about change.
Our event is ideal for anyone with an interest in social care in the UK. We’d love you to join us if you:
- Have personal experience of care directly or via a relative or friend
- Work in care as a social worker, advocate, care worker, manager or inspector
- Have an interest in care policy development or are a policy maker
- Are a lawyer or journalist or come into contact with people in care
- Want to get involved with campaigning or working with the media or justice system to bring about changes
There will be opportunities to ask questions and discuss challenges.
The event is free but donations are welcome to help us cover the costs and to support our work championing the rights of older people who need care.
