About this Event
Designing for Invisible Experiences is an interactive workshop that invites participants to explore the emotional and sensory experiences people encounter in the built environment.
Working in small groups, attendees are assigned themes such as overstimulation, focus, comfort, safety, belonging, or connection. Through collage and abstract materials, each group visually expresses what their assigned experience feels like and discusses how design can better support individuals navigating it.
The session concludes with a gallery-style share-out, sparking conversations around trauma-informed design, neurodiversity, inclusivity, and the role of the built environment in shaping human experience.
