About this Event
Join the IIDA Institutional Forum for a private, after-hours tour of the Studio Museum in Harlem. We're marking the one-year anniversary of the opening of the museum's new home: a seven-floor, 82,000-square-foot building. The first ever constructed specifically for the Studio Museum.
The Studio Museum in Harlem is the nexus for artists of African descent locally, nationally, and internationally and for work that has been inspired and influenced by Black culture. It is a site for the dynamic exchange of ideas about art and society.
Our tour will be led by members of the project team who helped design the museum's new building, alongside Studio Museum staff, offering a behind-the-scenes look at both the building and its mission.
