I invite you to join me, MJ founder of @groundingin_space and trauma-informed sound bath facilitator, for a Hypnotic Sound Bath at The Hyangle Fine Art Company, owned by Stephen Williams, a San Diego-based abstract painter.
I am grateful to bring monthly offerings to this space dedicated to art, expression, wellness, and culture in the San Diego community. A sound bath in this visually stimulating space adds another layer of quiet contemplation to your experience.
What is a Hypnotic Sound Bath (HSB)?
This immersive sound meditation is an invitation to relax and cultivate a sense of ease using just your awareness. This style combines sound healing and hypnotherapeutic techniques to guide the brain into alpha- theta states (just above sleep) where new neural pathways form easily, often turning relaxation into a transcendent experience.
Depending on the size of the class, I may incorporate positive affirmations or subliminals to encourage anchoring in self-trust and safety.
How does it work?
We will ease you into a meditative state starting with herbal tea and time for reflection/journaling before we embark on a journey inward.
All are welcome and no experience is necessary.
Bring your yoga mat, a blanket/pillow, journal and anything you need to feel comfortable while we hold space for your rest and peace of mind.
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the event start time to find parking and get settled.
