Let's welcome some Dallas and San Antonio Female fronted bands at the punk rock mansion!!!!! FREE BEER!!!!!!!!!! SHOW UP ON TIME AND BE A FRIEND AND BRING A FRIEND!!!FEA- new release THE NERVE is a raw unapologetic collection that screams survival and defiance. From confronting the scars of narcissistic abuse to standing up for women’s rights and bodily autonomy, these songs are manifestos for anyone fighting modern battles. Fea tackle the struggles with institutions, question the FDA’s grip on our choices, and even explore the quiet ache of wishing you could say one more thing to someone you’ve lost. Every track is charged with energy, honesty, and the grit that defines punk — a testament to resilience, rage, and remembrance. Fea’s third full length studio album treads new sonic territory with the addition of new guitarist Adrian Conner. From punk to majestic sonic garage rock anthems, Fea’s new album is a journey.
BOOF- Founded in Dallas, Tx by singer Rae Rumbelow in 2021, queer punk band BOOF also consists of guitarist Juice (Jay Edmonds) of The Brokes, bassist Sharkie (Clay Morrow) of Righteous K*ll, and anonymous masked drummer Gun. All of whom write and collectively decide every single aspect of their project. Their music ranges from whimsical jokes to stories about shenanigans to scathing political commentary from the LGBTQ point of view and life under the current administration. The band is known for their active community involvement and harm reduction outreach, partnering with One Condoms to distribute free condoms and sexual wellness precautions, as well as their chaotic, energetic performances that push beyond the music itself. They've performed with better known acts, such as War on Women, Daikaiju, Luicidal, Starving Wolves, and Fat by The Gallon. BOOF was also formerly signed to MDC's pet project Grimace Records, before reaching the decision to go completely independent in Summer of 2025.
