Gather your friends and please join us for Supper under the Pavilion at the Forest City Gun Club on October 17, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. to raise awareness and funds for America’s Vet Dogs, an organization that trains and places assistance dogs to provide enhanced mobility and renewed independence to veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders with disabilities, allowing them to once again live with pride and self-reliance..
The casual fall event will feature the music of local favorite Jay Rudd Band, a classic country and bluegrass band, along with barbecue, sliders, and sides from Carey Hilliard's, as well as chicken donated by Kentucky Fried Chicken. Sweets will be provided by River Street Sweets! Beer and wine are included in the purchase of a ticket and a cash bar will be available for cocktails.
In addition to the live music, we will hear from a veteran whose life has been changed by the gift of a service dog and will be treated to a demonstration by a well-known dog trainer. The silent auction will include an original painting by Anna Giles Truax, shooting lessons from a local instructor, a “Punch Party” at the Harper Fowlkes House and many other wonderful items.
The proceeds from this event will go directly to America’s Vet Dogs to support their mission.
