The Bloor-Yorkville BIA will host the return of Holiday Magic on
Saturday, November 21st, kicking off the holiday season with a free,
family-friendly outdoor concert and annual lighting ceremony in the heart
of Bloor-Yorkville.
Hosted by television personality Melissa Grelo, the event will feature a
headline performance by iconic Canadian jazz vocalist Molly Johnson, an
opening performance by the Senior Choir of The Rosedale Day School, and the
annual “Flick the Switch” Lighting Ceremony. The event will also support *The
Common Table*, a grassroots community initiative operated by the Church of
the Redeemer that provides essential support and connection to vulnerable
members of the community.
Throughout the holiday season, visitors can enjoy festive neighbourhood
lighting from November 21st through December 31st, along with strolling
performances by the Candy Cane Carolers on select dates in December. From
December 2nd–6th, Bloor-Yorkville will also welcome *Fleurs de Villes
JOYEUX*, featuring more than 15 fresh floral installations created by
Toronto florists.
