Hill of Tara — rain, royalty and a little imagination!Hi folks,
This Bank Holiday Monday, we’re heading to the Hill of Tara to test our new augmented reality tour app, and we’d love your feedback.
Tara is famously associated with Ireland’s ancient high kings.
Today, its earthworks offer only a glimpse of its past.
Our digital tour aims to bring that world to life, taking you on a journey through the crowning of a new king.
Bring your smartphone, a full battery and a little imagination!
Rain is likely, so please bring waterproofs, suitable walking shoes and a spare pair of shoes for the journey home.
We’ll start with a 30-minute tour, followed by tea or coffee in the local café.
There will then be some free time for the giftshop and bookstore before our minibus returns to Dublin.
Tickets : €10 just join the guest list and pay on the bus.
