Join us at The Bonded Warehouse in Manchester for an honest evening with David White and Paul Lake, former Manchester City players and Hey Dan brand ambassadors.
David played as a forward for City, Leeds United and England. He knows the highs the game can give you, and he has spoken openly about the hardest chapter of his life. Paul captained City and was on course for an England career before a knee injury ended his playing days at 24. He has written and spoken honestly about what followed, and about what happens when the thing you built your life around is taken away.
Two men, two very different endings, and the same decision to talk about it. This is your chance to hear both stories first hand, in a room built for real conversation about football, life, and the check-ins we all put off.
This is an evening for everyone, not just football fans and not just people who already think about their mental health. Most of us know someone who's quietly struggling, and most of us have been that person at some point too. Hey Dan exists to make reaching out normal. To check in on your brothers, fathers, uncles, friends and yourself, before it's too late. Every hey could be the one that makes someone feel seen, supported and still here.
