Bár Noah édesapja a Radiohead frontembere, Thom Yorke a csapat teljesen függetlenként a saját útját járja.

Hex Girlfriend – chaos and daydreaming at MANYI.
Hex Girlfriend is the duo of Noah Yorke and James Knott. Their sound blends infectious pop hooks with industrial textures and dream-pop melodies, pairing playful experimentation with instinctive songwriting. Their chaotic, high-energy shows quickly gained a reputation and found an audience on the underground scene; now, Budapest fans can experience Hex Girlfriend firsthand at MANYI on March 22.
The two musicians met at Goldsmiths University during the pandemic, where they were both studying popular music. They began writing songs together in a dorm room, using little more than a laptop. Industrial music has been a major influence on the pair – they cite Nine Inch Nails as a key inspiration, alongside the golden age of MTV. Those influences can be heard in their music, where industrial elements intertwine with lighter pop and groove-driven melodies inspired by the 2000s.
Although Noah’s father is Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke, the band is pursuing its own path entirely independently. Their live shows are wild and theatrical, so it is no surprise that the duo quickly made a name for themselves on the scene, bringing remarkable energy to clubs wherever they play.
Tickets for Hex Girlfriend’s first Budapest show go on sale on October 30 at 11:00 AM via www.livenation.hu and www.funcode.hu.
