The Harvest Festival is back for a second year on Saturday 10th October from 10 till 4 at St Christopher’s Church on Hampstead Road in BS4. The event is to raise money for brilliant local food growing project, Edible Bristol, who do great work growing fresh fruit and veg to donate to food banks. There will lots of brilliant local craftspeople who work with nature and the seasons, as well as local community growers and food projects who are sharing details of their work and how you can get involved and help.Bring your fruit and veg gluts to share and jams to swap, enjoy local ciders from Dick Willows Farm and learn how to ID apples with Woodcroft Community Orchard, watch maker demos and chat about crafts. Join in printing a lovely community banner for Edible Bristol to use on their site with Rosanna Morris. Listen to Lia Leendertz talking about her 2027 Seasonal Almanac Guide and get hold of a signed copy.
There are lots of workshops happening throughout the day. More details and links to pre-book will be coming soon.
