About this Event
Nov 28th at 604 Studios in East Vancouver, be a part of 's live musical comedy where he battles an A.I. agent, known as Hunkotron, over love & music! This will be his first album & special with the multi-nominated and Juno award winning label, Comedy Here Often?.
In this interactive event Hank Pine showcases songs from his upcoming album, but things slowly go awry when his laptop upgrades itself into sentience. A fun, chaotic, and frenetic look at the role of Artificial Intelligence and Art; full of sexual tension, dark humour, and unrelenting optimism.
Hank is a queer musical comedian and genre-hopper that careens through disco, hip-hop, soundtracks and psychedelic punk, known for his clever lyrics and moody atmospheric dance tracks.
He's written 7 staged musicals, including the smash hit HEATSEEKER: a musical about gayness, grindr and filling the hole(in your heart)with Jenson Kerr. He is a frequent collaborator with Atomic Vaudeville (creators of Ride the Cyclone), Ingrid Hansen (Sesame Street), JIMBO (RuPaul's Drag Race), Lily Fawn (Hank and Lily), and more!
