Halloween Owl Encounter – October 26th & 30th 10.00 & 1.00Looking for something a little different to do this Halloween? Swap the usual tricks and treats for feathers, talons and a little owl magic with our Halloween Owl Encounter!
Spend 90 unforgettable minutes in the company of some of our beautiful owls. Under the guidance of our experienced falconers, you’ll get up close and personal as you meet and handle a variety of different species, from the beautiful Barn Owl and cheeky Tawny Owl to the tiny Scops Owl and magnificent Eagle Owl – plus a few more feathered characters along the way!
Then it’s time to head out into our main flying arena and experience the real magic of these incredible birds.
Pop on a falconry glove, hold out your arm and watch as the owls glide silently towards you, landing right on your hand. Experiencing the silent flight of an owl at such close quarters really is something special!
Throughout the encounter there will be plenty of opportunities to take photographs, ask our falconers questions and learn more about these fascinating nocturnal hunters.
Places are limited, so pre-booking is highly recommended.
