About this Event
We’re back at Really Good Sound Studio with the next Guitar Wharf workshop. This session is designed to give musicians a practical understanding of how their instruments work and how to spot when something isn’t right.
During the workshop, you’ll:
- Learn the fundamentals of guitar key terminology.
- Understand basic setup principles and how to evaluate instrument health.
- Check neck relief, nut condition, and overall playability.
- Appreciate the importance of maintenance and correct storage for long-term performance and preservation.
Bringing a guitar is completely optional. We won’t be repairing instruments during the workshop, but if you bring one you’ll be able to use it to test and apply some of the concepts we cover during the session.
If you do, please also bring a tuner, a capo, and a small ruler.
We’ll finish the afternoon in a relaxed atmosphere with a glass of wine and some Italian treats, giving everyone a chance to socialize and share experiences.
Hosted at Really Good Sound Studio by producer and professional musician Herman Ringer, the event offers a relaxed and friendly environment to learn, ask questions, and connect with fellow musicians in the community.
