About this Event

Join us for Grown Up Drama Club!

Designed for all experience levels, each session offers a safe, supportive space to explore storytelling, character work, spontaneous play, and the fundamentals of performance. Whether you're looking to build your public speaking skills, increase your confidence, or just have fun playing with a group of nice people, this series is a refreshing way to connect and express yourself.

As the colder, darker months settle in, it’s easy to feel isolated or uninspired. Drama and improv offer a powerful antidote by keeping your mind active, your body moving, and your spirit lifted. Each class brings laughter, human connection, and a chance to step outside your routine. If you're looking for a weekly fall ritual where you get to play, create, and collaborate with others, Grown Up Drama Club is for you.

We'll cover topics such as devising, scene work, character building, improvisation, stage presence, and physical theatre.

WHAT: 5 weeks of drama games and community building.

WHEN: Tuesday evenings from 7pm-9pm.

  • November 18
  • November 25
  • December 2
  • December 9
  • December 16

WHERE: University Heights Center, a historic community space in the U-District. We'll meet in Room 104 on the first floor.
