She went on to deliver remarkable performances in film adaptations of books by John Fowles, Graham Greene, Jane Austen, Evelyn Waugh, Alexandre Dumas, Leo Tolstoy, Scott Turow, Georges Simenon, Agatha Christie and more.
Across four decades and more than 50 film, television and theatre productions, the Anglo-Italian actor has worked with some of the world's greatest directors and performers. Fluent in Italian, French and German, and the recipient of numerous international awards, Scacchi offers a unique perspective on the creative challenge of transforming beloved books into compelling performances.
