Grace in Grief provides a consistent, culturally responsive community space where adults can be witnessed, supported, and connected while living through grief.
Hosted by Royal Rose Foundation, this free, five-session peer-support pilot honors different cultures, identities, relationships, beliefs, family structures, and experiences of loss. Our approach centers dignity, cultural understanding, and connection.
Participation is voluntary, and sharing is always optional. You are welcome to listen, take a pause, or participate at your own pace. You do not need to describe traumatic events or share personal details about your loss.
Join us on November 14, November 28, and December 12, 2026, and January 9 and January 23, 2027. Each session runs from 6:00–7:30 PM Pacific at Royal Rose Foundation, 80 SE Madison St, Suite 120, Portland, OR 97214. There is no session on December 26.
This space is for adults ages 18 and older. Registration is free, with 12 spaces available per session. Please register for each date you plan to attend.
Group expectations and privacy
Respect each participant’s names, pronouns, relationships, cultures, beliefs, and family structures. Listen without judgment and respect each person’s choice about whether to share.
Do not repeat another participant’s story, name, or identifying information outside the group. Please do not photograph or record participants.
We ask everyone to protect one another’s privacy, but confidentiality cannot be guaranteed among peers. Privacy also has limits for immediate safety concerns, suspected abuse requiring a report, court orders, or other legal obligations.
Support boundaries and crisis information
Grace in Grief is a non-clinical peer-support group. It is not psychotherapy, diagnosis, crisis treatment, or a replacement for licensed behavioral health care.
