Get ready for a night of goth, death rock, post-rock, new wave, and a touch of hardcore with Nashville's Academy Order.
Academy Order blends dark, atmospheric sounds with the energy of post-punk and hardcore, creating a sound that feels both rooted in the past and completely their own. Their music pulls from several corners of the darker alternative world while leaving plenty of room for experimentation.
As Evan Martin-Casler of Cvlt Nation puts it, Academy Order sounds like a band already at the peak of their career, while still feeling like they're just getting started.
