Meet our November Featured Artist, Maria Falbo, whose paintings are full of personality, expression, and a healthy dose of humor.
Maria describes herself as a self-taught artist, with a little help from those years of art classes. She's a self-proclaimed face fanatic, and her canvases are filled with expressions ranging from RBF and confusion to mild amusement. Her artistic influences come from everyday life and artists who have taken their own paths rather than following traditional painting styles.
While she may not have a long list of awards or an art school degree, Maria's work has found its way into private collections, where it continues to be enjoyed in cozy, dimly lit rooms.
Join us at The Covellite Lounge on Friday, November 6th, from 4–6PM for Maria's artist reception. Stop by, meet the artist, take a closer look at her work, and enjoy a little personality on the walls.
Her artwork will be on display throughout November, so there's plenty of time to stop by and see the exhibition even if you can't make the reception.
