About this Event
Come join us at Stubbs Retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation in the cosy bell tent. Allow yourself to take a pause from day to day chores and responsibilities and to get away from it all to enjoy the cosy setting of the bell tent and the tranqil woodland.
During this unique sound bath / gong bath experience you will be lead through some relaxing breathing exercises to prepare for the sounds to follow. Immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of various instruments including gongs, chimes and crystal singing pyramid. Let the vibrations wash over you, releasing tension and promoting a deep sense of calm and we'll be warmed by the log burning stove. No experience necessary.
There will be herbal tea and cake to finish so please let me know at the time of booking if you have any allergies.
Please wear comfortable clothes. Mats and blankets are provided but you may wish to bring your own. You may also wish to bring something to cover your eyes and water to drink afterwards too.
Please do your best to arrive at least 5 to 10 minutes early to get settled so the session can start promptly.
Please note - Whilst Sound Baths / Gong baths are suitable for most, it is not advised in the following situations:
- 1st trimester of pregnancy
- Anyone with a pacemaker
- Unsupported serious mental health condition
- Sound induced epilepsy
Please also inform us of any of the following:
- Metal implants
- Tinnitus
- Severe illness
- Recent surgery
