GLOW at KELSO - Glow-In-The-Dark Disc Golf

Dr. Glow is bringing the full Dr. Glow Experience back to Kelso! The Blue 9 gets lit up with glowing baskets and a glowing course, and we play it twice around for 18 holes. It is a tournament, but not a serious one. Bring a friend who has never thrown a disc. They will fit right in!

WHY THIS ONE MATTERS
Kelso’s disc golf course exists because ChainLink Disc Golf and Conservation Halton built it together. The ChainLink Conservation Series supports conservation efforts through environmental awareness by building disc golf courses to bring people back into nature. A November evening under the lights, out on the course, is exactly that: a reason to spend time outside and see Kelso in a way most people never do!
This is also a standalone special event this year, which makes it a bit of a one-off.

PARK ADMISSION
Park admission is separate from your registration. We recommend pre-purchasing online, though you can also pay at the gate. Select “Kelso Main Entrance,” choose Saturday, November 7th, 2026, and pick the timeslot you plan to arrive in:
https://admin.parkpassproject.com/book/?inventoryGroup=1554186518&inventory=1508029477
Annual Conservation Halton pass holders get free entry and only need to pay the event registration. Parking is free inside the park, and washrooms are available.

COME EARLY
We suggest arriving before the 6:00 PM meeting. Find parking, explore the park, and stop by the Trailhead Sports Rental & Retail store for snacks and their pro shop. The sun starts setting around 5:00 PM and it is fully dark by about 6:00 PM, so you may even fit in a daylight round before the glow begins.
BRING GLOW DISCS
The glow is what makes the night, so please bring glow-in-the-dark discs. If you need some, ChainLink Conservation Series discs are available at the Trailhead. They are great to play with, and picking one up helps support the conservation areas.
WANT SOMETHING TO PLAY FOR?
If you are an experienced player who wants a bit more competition, there is a prize. The winner will be inscribed on the ChainLink Conservation Series plaque, noted as a special event separate from the sanctioned Conservation Series tournaments.
GOOD TO KNOW
Dress for the weather. Early November evenings get cold once the sun is down, so layers, a warm hat, and gloves are your friends.
You are playing the Blue 9 only. Course map (it shows the full 18-hole course): https://www.conservationhalton.ca/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Disc-Golf-FULL-18-Course-Map-2024-V10sm.pdf
Registration is open now, and signing up early helps us plan the night. Tap “Going” so your friends can see you are in, and tag the person you are bringing!
See you under the lights! 🌟
