Join us for a beautiful morning on the trails as we explore the scenic area between Crawford Lake and Rattlesnake Point.
🥾 Hike details
* Distance: Approximately 12 km
* Duration: About 3.5 hours
* Difficulty: Moderate — suitable for beginners who are comfortable walking longer distances
* Terrain: A mix of trails, including rocky, uneven and sometimes narrow sections, with some hills
📍 Meeting time: 9:00 AM sharp at Crawford Lake Conservation Area. Please arrive a little early so we can start on time.
A few things to know:
* Carpooling is recommended.
* Parking is paid. Advance reservations are recommended.

* Bring water, a snack, and weather-appropriate layers.

I always do my best to keep the group together and wait for anyone who may be walking behind, but with larger groups it’s not always possible to keep everyone within sight at all times. Please remember that you are responsible for your own safety and navigation.
Make sure you have your phone with you and know how to use GPS or maps in case you get separated from the group. This happens RARELY, but it’s important to be aware and prepared.
Please also ensure that you are fit and properly equipped for the activity, as some walks or hikes may require a certain level of fitness or protective gear.
