About this Event
GlobeMed at The George Washington University is a student-led public health organization dedicated to advancing global health equity through education, advocacy, and direct partnership with grassroots organizations. Our chapter partners with Set Her Free, a nonprofit in Uganda that works to improve the health, safety, and independence of women and children.
Each year, our Winter Gala offers an opportunity for students, professors, policymakers, advocates, and public health experts to discuss relevant public health topics in connection with the essential work of Set Her Free. All proceeds from Gala are donated directly to Set Her Free to support their mission.
