About this Event
Friendships ending can be intense, strange, and bring up a lot of feelings we might not have space to discuss in our lives. We as a culture don’t make time to discuss friendship breakups the way we do romantic relationships ending. The ambiguity of these losses can linger for a long time, leaving us feeling … haunted.
Join us for an evening making mini zines or paper gravestones as a way to honor and process the grief of friends ghosting and ghosted. Come for a craft and cry this spooky season.
Hang out with other grievers, crafters, grieving crafters, and crafting grievers.
Our artistic abilities: amateurish. The vibe: jovial earnestness with space for nuance.
Conversation is welcome but not needed; no one is required to share.
This is not a support group or a substitute for therapy. If you are in an active crisis, please seek outside support.
We will bring paper, scissors, crayons, and markers. You can bring additional art supplies you might have, though please nothing that might leave a mess (e.g. please no glitter).
Suggested donation of $5 - $15 to cover supplies, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
