Intro the Genesis studyIn the Beginning – 1st 3 chapters of Genesis.
If you miss the beginning you miss everything.
As we’ve done some studies on deconstruction and also being able to defend our faith, I realized how much damage has been done by attacking the veracity of Genesis 1 -3.
Especially the story of Adam and Eve and the fall.
If that didn’t happen literally then why did Jesus even have to come?
Peter in 2 Peter even ties the moving away from an account of God creating the universe to blaspheming God.
Important to talk about.
We’ll also touch on some other themes as well.
• Who is God and how does He accomplish His purposes in the earth.
• Who are we?
• Value of human life
• What is a biblical view of conservationism
• What is the essence of sin?
