About this Event
To all you Geeks! This is a monthly opportunity for programmers, developers and web techies in the San Antonio area to get out and socialize! Let’s talk about your current projects, coding issues, wins and anything else!
Co-Founders Monty Morgan and Sharon Gutierrez started Geeks & Drinks in 2021 when they moved to San Antonio and wanted to connect with like minded people. Our mission is to have a safe and inclusive space for everyone to hang out and talk about the geeky stuff.
The event will be hosted at Pinkertons on the first Wednesday of every month.
Food: If you are planning to grab dinner at Pinkertons it gets super busy after 5:30 so I would show up a little early so you don't have to wait in line. There are usually a few early arrivals on the patio to hang out with!
Parking: Pinkertons does validate if your purchase food or drink there. From their website: FREE PARKING LOCATIONS: Rand Garage: 129 Soledad & Surface Lot @ 225 W Travis Street (PLEASE REMEMBER TO ADD THE W IN FRONT OF TRAVIS) – Grab a ticket and ask the cashier inside for a validation ticket.
