About this Event
The musical partnership between saxophonist George Garford and guitarist John Bisset is founded on their obvious personal connection. Both brilliant improvisers in their own right, their collaborative work is a vehicle for far-reaching exploration. Joining them for the second time in Birmingham will be percussionist Mark Sanders, who is well known for his ability to attune to and amplify every musical situation in which he appears.
At Fizzle we are proud of the connections we have with the wider European scene. We are particularly delighted to be presenting Norwegian saxophonist Petter Frost Fadnes and Portuguese guitarist (now based in the UK) José Dias for this international occaision. Both are artistic researchers whose deeply thoughful approach to their improvising is bound to result in a captivating performance.
