About this Event
Join Generation for Change (G4C) for an engaging breakfast event featuring Karl Johnson from Sisk, as we explore how the construction sector can create meaningful and lasting benefits for the communities in which we build.
The session will focus on how projects can improve the economic, social, and environmental well-being of local communities, leaving a positive legacy long after construction is complete. With social value now routinely accounting for 10% to 30% of tender evaluation scores, it has become a crucial consideration for organisations seeking to win work and deliver successful outcomes.
Drawing on industry experience and practical examples, Karl will share insights into how social value can be embedded throughout the project lifecycle, the challenges and opportunities facing the sector, and how construction professionals can contribute to creating measurable community impact.
