About this Event
Future-Proof: Building Career Capital That Lasts
A Black History Month career event by UK Career Quest and Braze
Your career doesn’t have to follow a straight line to move forward. Join UK Career Quest and Braze at Braze’s London head office for an evening of practical career support, new connections and an honest conversation about building a career that can grow with you.
The evening will include food, LinkedIn headshots, CV reviews, vendor stalls and a panel discussion with professionals sharing their experiences and advice.
The panel: Building Career Capital That Lasts
As industries change and AI reshapes the way we work, what helps you stay adaptable and create opportunities for yourself?
Our panellists will explore the different forms of career capital: the skills you develop, the experience you gain, the relationships you build and the reputation you earn. We’ll discuss career pivots, transferable skills, professional visibility and how to use AI to support your work and development.
We’ll also make space for the barriers Black professionals can face when accessing opportunities and networks, and talk about the role mentorship, sponsorship and community can play in helping people progress.
