🍂 You're invited to join us Sunday, November 15th at the Special Olympics Gym to socialize, play, and build a community for families who have a child between the ages of 0-10 with a disability, rare disease, genetic condition, or who is on the spectrum in the Sioux Falls area. 🤎 This is a FREE event, no registration needed! Siblings welcome, guardian required.
🍁 We will have half of the gym open for basketball and other gross motor play. The other half of the gym will be set up with Harvest hemed activities including a craft, toy centers, sensory stations and more.
📸 We are BEYOND EXCITED to be offering free family mini sessions with Lucky Duckling Photography. Brittany will have a Fall themed backdrop with a few small props. She will be offering 2 fully edited photos per family. One group family shot and one with just the kids. She will have a sign in sheet/form to fill out for each family so she can email photos to you. A HUGE thank you goes out to Brittany for offering her services.
⛷️ We will also be joined by our special guest of the month, Curt from the Great Bear Adaptive Ski program. Come learn more about that awesome program and how to register!
⏰ The event will be taking place from 3-4:30pm and you are welcome to come and go as it works for your family during those hours.
⭐ The Special Olympics gym is a great space for kiddos of all ages and abilities to play while giving parents a chance to chat! There will be equipment out for the kiddos to play with, including mats with toys for babies and non-mobile kiddos and basketball for any big kids, older siblings or adults who want to shoot some hoops.
📣 If you know of anyone who could benefit, please help us spread the word--the more the merrier and ALL abilities are welcome! We would like these to become more of a unified event and encourage families to invite friends!
