Full Moon Ritual Circle (Outdoors, Richmond)

Join our NEW Witchy Full moon ritual gatherings, Outdoors in Richmond. Held as magical & pagan worship events, This location makes it easier to see the actual moon and hold our Ceremony in full moon light (subject to clouds ofcourse). These quiet outdoor woods-based rituals allow all to sink deeper into magical states, explore ritual elements and attuning to Horned God & Moon Goddess energies. There will be some gentle candle-lit picnic feasting & voluntary divination readings.

• Note: There may be Empowered Howling at the moon at the end of ritual.. to release your inner Wolf. :-) These circles are informally known as `The Clan of the Lunar Wolves' )

These rituals are suitable for beginners and all interested in Wicca, Paganism & Ritual Magic. .

• We operate a STRICTLY NO DRUGS policy at all times .

1----- RITUAL : (details may vary)-- Our rituals are based on Wicca and adapted over many years of running open rituals in London.

• In general, We start with a brief attunement - a guided visualisation for stillness and energy opening to connect to Gaia / Mother Earth .
• Consecration where each person is blessed with consecrated water & incense. Then a magic circle is cast, while all attendees visualise a protective sphere around us.
• Guardians called - This varies. We may call the 4 Elements Air, Fire, Water, Earth; or the 4 Archangels; Or 5 Cosmic Guardians .
• Woodland God & Moon Goddess - Generally we call Moon Goddess & Woodland Horned God with chants & invocations.A selected lady may enact the role of the Goddess,, while facilitator (Mani) will take the role of the Woodland God. Both may read or recite `charges' (words spoken by Deity).
• Magic/ spell working. This varies each time- and may involve Rune chants, or candle or cord magics. .. for protection, healing, wealth, strength, love, Joy.

2.--- PRACTICAL DETAILS -----

FREE Event (but donations welcome to keep our free rituals going). Thank you.

Meeting point / Time:

• 5.30pm-6pm: Meet in the `HolyHock Cafe', Terrace Gardens, Richmond. Cafe closes at 6pm.
• Pre-ritual coffee: We will be there having teas/ coffee and gather all attendees..
• Then we walk up to a secluded area nearby (Terrace Fields) ..set up altar and hold the Ritual.

Travel:

Take bus 65 from outside Richmond Station. After approx 10mins, get off at `Robins Court (stop R).. walk 2minutes ahead in same side and turn left into `Terrace Gardens' (gated). Holyhock Cafe is 20 meters ahead inside Terrace Gardens.

What to bring?
You can bring the various items to enhance your experience. Torch light, good weather-appropriate clothing for outdoors are highly recommended..

• Ritual items (optional): Moon crowns, flower crowns, Ritual cloaks, capes, masks; lanterns, candles in jars..
• Torch light for safe walking at night.
• Warm clothing & rain-coats/ outdoor shoes (and ankle covered socks! ).
• Small ground sheet & yoga matt / cushion to sit on for social.
• Your own Cups/chalice to drink from. (we provide disposable paper/plastic cups).

Please bring Picnic food & drinks to share (optional). example: bread, butter, pita bread, cheese, small picnic food, soft drinks, wine. If there are unopened food items, please share them out and take them home. .

Tidying up: please Take any rubbish out to bins on pavements.

3 ---- POLICY & GUIDELINES -------

• The Terrace Gardens/ Terrace fileds are slightly steep, and may not be suitable for those with mobility or health issues.
• We have Strict NO Drugs/ NO substances policy. Anyone found breaching it will be asked to leave without refund. Police will be called on any troublemakers,
• NO filming during ritual ! No media intrusions. Our events are for spiritual & worship purposes only! (After ritual, you may take photos of altar and your self & your friends.). Organisers may take few photos with permission for our PR purposes.
• No children allowed at any time. Our events are for 18+ yrs and older.
• Inclusivity: We are inclusive of all race, pagan beliefs, genders, sexuality, LGBTQP+
• All attendees are responsible for their own well-being and Health & safety. Do not give out your personal contact details/ social profiles to anyone unless you have screened them well.
• We strive for a safe trusted environment at our ritual. Please be kind and respectful at all times. Report any perceived bullying or suspected harrasment issues to Facilitators asap.

About Wicca:

Wicca, now a recognised pagan religion, was established by Gerald Gardner in late 1950's in England (Gardnerian wicca), further developed by Doreen Valiente and Alex & Maxine Sanders (Alexandrian wicca). Wiccans celebrate the 13 full moons (esbats) and the 8-fold seasonal sabats - Imbolc, Spring, Beltane, Midsummer, Lammas, Autumn, Samhain, Yule. Wiccans work in open circles, while initiated Wiccan hold rituals in private Covens, following their Initiations.

About Mani (facilitator) :

Mani is an initiated Witch & Gardnerian High Priest, starting his wiccan path in mid 90's by studying under Craft elders Dr.Vivianne Crowley & Chris Crowley. Mani has been running private Covens & public rituals since 2001. ` Mani has a Physics B.Sc degree, training in Transpersonal Psychology & counselling, and blends some Hindu & Shamanic practices into pagan rituals.

Info: We meet outside `Holyhock Cafe' in Terrace Gardens. Once all ate gathered, we walk few minutes, to ritual spot further in the fields, set up Altar. Have a quick talk-through about what we are going to do. Also assign some key roles for people.

Info: All stand in a circle around altar. There is some breath work and centreing; then consecrations by incense and blessed salt-water; then circle casting; Then 4 elements are called as we face East, South, west, north ; Then - some energy raising with chants & drums etc. There will be some Goddess related work - invocations (poetry) and enactment by a Goddess (person taking the role);

Info: Some magical work is undertaken - Rune Chants, drawing in energy from altar, spellcraft with candles, cords or other forms (each ritual may have different magic); Some healing may be done for group or individual at centre.

Info: Food & drinks brought in by people are all communally blessed with some repeated words ("we bless these foods with good health, wealth, love peace..' etc). Then we close circle (farewell to Deity & elements); then have a social sharing food & drinks; Conversations; chats; It can go on for 30mins or more . some people may leave after ritual.

Info: Once ritual is finished, some people may leave; others stay for social & food; But around 9.30pm we begin tidy up and packing; Rubbish is collected and taken to bins on pavements; Organisers pack up altar stuff and depart around 10pm.
