About this Event
Join yoga teachers Ashley Draklich and Anna Dubrovsky beneath the willows and pines of Guajome Regional Park for a day retreat devoted to connection, creativity, and kindness.
We'll begin in circle, getting to know each other over mugs of cacao and practicing the lost art of daydreaming. Let's make like kids in the woods, in a time before smartphones, when anything seemed possible and the only thing on our calendar was "home by dinner."
We'll spend time moving our bodies, creating with our hands, sharing a scratch-cooked meal, and watching the sun set. Highlights include:
🪶 DIY Dreamcatcher
Weave a tangible reminder of your dreams and intentions in this hands-on experience with local artist Randie Hilliard of Zen Wild Shop. We'll explore the origins and symbolism of dreamcatchers as we mix and match fibers, beads, and feathers to personalize our creations.
🪶 Yoga in the Round
Unfurl your mat in a pavilion overlooking Guajome Lake for a yoga practice in the round. No front row. No back row. Just a chance to flow on equal footing.
🪶 Walking Meditation
Zip your lips, slow your pace, and let your eyes and mind wander as you circle the lake, home to myriad birds, fish, and other wildlife.
🪶 Pizza Party
Report for duty in our outdoor kitchen to help with dinner: handcrafted pizzas, baked fresh in the oven. Build your own masterpiece or join forces for family-style dining.
