Marigolds, Memories & Sound Meditation
We invite all souls to join us for a special evening of remembrance, resonance and connection in the beautiful and peaceful sanctuary of Oceanside Mortuary.
This very special sound meditation is an invitation to remember, honor and celebrate those we love who have crossed beyond the veil including any family members, friends as well as beloved pets and ancestors.
In honor of our Mexican ancestral heritage and traditions, guests will be welcomed into the sanctuary and invited to spend a quiet moment at our ofrenda, surrounded by candlelight and marigolds. You are welcome to bring a photograph, small keepsake, souvenir or offering representing someone you wish to honor and place it on the ofrenda for the duration of the meditation. Personal items may be retrieved afterward, and guests will be invited to take a marigold home with them in remembrance.
We will then settle into approximately one hour of guided sound meditation centered around remembering and reconnecting with those we love.
An array of vibrational and melodic instruments will fill the sanctuary, including gongs, crystal singing bowls, Koshi chimes, bells, drums, percussion, celestial vocal toning and more, creating an immersive soundscape of vibration and resonance.
As always, René Cosby will be present to offer Reiki Energy Balancing to those who become overwhelmed or emotional and need additional support.
Please dress comfortably. Each guest may settle into their own private wooden bench or pew or choose a comfortable place on the floor. Bring any blankets, pillows, cushions or other comforts you would like to help you fully relax. You get to make this wooden bench your own cozy space. You can share this bench/space with a loved one only if you choose to. We also have some limited chairs available in the back of the sanctuary for those that need them.
Tissues, eye masks and refreshments following the meditation will be provided.
