Elevating Educators Coalition’s Educator Pathway Event Series | Prepare → Develop
This event is part of the Elevating Educators Coalition’s Educator Pathway Event Series, designed to connect and support educators at key stages of their careers.
The transition from educator preparation into your first years of teaching can be both exciting and overwhelming. You are learning your students, your school, and the day-to-day realities of teaching, often while navigating new responsibilities and systems.
You do not have to navigate it alone.
Join the Elevating Educators Coalition for an evening designed to help new and aspiring teachers build community, strengthen their professional networks, and connect with people and organizations that can support them throughout their early careers.
Through honest conversation, relationship-building, and a shared meal, you will have opportunities to:
- Connect with educators navigating similar experiences
- Build relationships across schools and preparation programs
- Hear practical lessons from teachers who recently made the transition into the classroom
- Discover organizations, programs, and communities that support early-career educators
- Share the questions and challenges that are most important to you
- Leave with a concrete next step and at least one meaningful new connection
This event will take place at City Year, Boston located at 287 Columbus Ave, Boston, MA 02116.

- First and early-career teachers
- All educators seeking community and professional connections
- Candidates currently completing an educator preparation program and preparing to enter the classroom
