Join Gallery A2’s 2026 Visiting Artist in Residence Alison Croney Moses for an opportunity to learn more about her practice. She will share works in progress, a few completed pieces, as well her process as she embarks on a multiyear project.
Alison Croney Moses: A Studio Visit will be on view at Gallery A2 at Artisans Asylum September 25 – December 6, 2026. This solo exhibition invites visitors into a “studio visit,” highlighting the artist’s exploration and learning during her residency at A2.
Alison Croney Moses (b. 1983) is a Boston based artist investigating craft, community, identity, and motherhood. Her work is in the collections of the Detroit Institute of the Arts, Museum of Fine Arts Boston, the Rose Art Museums, and the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, D.C. She is a recipient of the 2022 USA Fellowship in Craft, and 2023 Boston Artadia Award, a finalist of the 2024 LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize and the recipient of the 2024 Black Mountain College International Artist Prize and the recent recipient of the 2025 Rappaport Prize and the 2025 Brother Thomas Fellowship. She was one of the Triennial Accelerator Artists for the 2025 Boston Public Art Triennial and as a recipient of the 2025 Foster Prize, her work was featured in the Foster Prize Exhibition through Jan 2026. Alison holds an MA in Sustainable Business & Communities from Goddard College, and a BFA in Furniture Design from Rhode Island School of Design.
