Friday Nights at the Club w/ Musical Guest The Forty Drop Few

Join us for an unforgettable evening of community, culture, and cuisine. Every Friday celebrates Swedish culture, camaraderie, and fun—with cozy conversations, lively music, and a welcoming community. Originally from the American Southwest and now based in Portland, Oregon, The Forty Drop Few is a trio dedicated to the popular music of the early 1900s. Drawing inspiration exclusively from the vintage 78 rpm recordings they cherish, they perform an authentic blend of New Orleans jazz, Southwestern fiddle tunes, classic banjo rags, Black string band music, hillbilly harmonies, and distinctive period vocals.

The trio features Ethan Francis, Candra Edwards, and Elliot Kennedy, whose shared passion for early American music has taken them to performances across the country.

Joining them for this special evening is acclaimed pianist Andrew Oliver, celebrated for his energetic and authentic interpretations of early jazz piano. Influenced by legendary musicians including Jelly Roll Morton, James P. Johnson, and Earl Hines, Oliver's dynamic playing captures the infectious rhythms and spirit that helped bring jazz to the forefront of American popular music.
