Come out to Frankford Boat Launch for a community cleanup! (Plus water vessel recycling event!)
This cleanup is hosted by,and supported by with local partners and !
This community cleanup is a chance for individuals in the greater Philadelphia area to go come together to clean along the Delaware River. We will look for various types of trash and safely remove the debris from the park and the rivers edge.
Bring your old non-motorized watersport vessels (think kayaks, innertubes, canoes, paddles, etc.) and fishing gear and we will recycle it for you- for free! More details to come!
All cleanup gear (gloves, pickers, & trash bags) will be provided, but feel free to bring your own gloves if preferred. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes. Lastly, be sure to bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. 💧A water cooler will be available for refills.
Volunteering for this cleanup event will not only contribute to a cleaner river, it will also give you the opportunity to win some United by Blue gear! We will celebrate our work with a complimentary snack after the cleanup.
Parking Information: There will be free parking available to all. Park in the boat launch lot and find the large United by Blue tent to check in!
