You can have a team, customers and a calendar full of meetings, and still miss having people around who understand what it’s like to build something.
The decisions. The uncertainty. The small wins that feel massive. The problem you’ve been turning over in your head for a week.
Founders Sheffield is a day to get out of your usual routine and spend time with people who get it.
We’re bringing founders together once a month to work, make connections, share ideas and socialise. Sheffield is the first Founders community, and this is Day 01.

This is a working day, not a conference. Bring whatever you’re working on, find a seat and get stuck in.
There’s space for focused work, time to have proper conversations and the chance to meet someone who’s tackling similar challenges. Take a break together, swap recommendations or simply enjoy not spending another day working alone.
No forced pitches. No awkward sales circles. No expectation that everyone in the room needs to become your customer.
And when the laptops close, stay for the social.
This event’s speaker: Callum Parker, Creative Lead at Olano
Callum is joining us to run a Brand Direction Session, helping founders explore where their business, brand or product sits in the market, recognise their strengths and identify practical next steps.
With more than 10 years in design, Callum is part of Olano’s 10-person team, working with everyone from small startups to global household names. He describes himself as a local lad trying to help people get the branding their businesses deserve.
Expect a practical session and an opportunity to think about your brand with someone who wants to help you move it forward.
The afternoon:
- 1:00–1:30pm: Networking and conversations.
- 1:30–2:30pm: Brand Direction Session with Callum.
- 2:30–3:00pm: More networking and time to keep the conversation going.
Who’s it for?
Solo founders and co-founders. First businesses and established teams. Bootstrapped or funded. Agencies, product businesses, technology companies and everything in between.
You don’t need an impressive pitch, a funding round or a particular number of employees. You just need to be building a business.
