Hi Grower!
We are building a food and textile garden in a small corner of East London, and we are inviting you to a Garden Day. On rotating Mondays and Sundays, we meet up to grow and harvest food; take care of our micro city vineyard and tend dye plants and textile crops for a few hours.
Work with us to maintain the community plots during our 2 hour gardening sessions, open to the public. Or come and visit to see what's growing.
Take part in propagating, Turing over soil, planting, harvesting and general clearing up and maintenance. Whatever is needed on the day.
about the garden
We are a community garden based at Kings George V Park in Newham.
We are community led and are transferring the space into a food and textile garden - from tasty herbs, to colourful fruits - and our dye garden, scented plot and textile crops.
