As the darkness of winter settles across the land and the old year reaches its final threshold, we gather to honour Hen Galan, the ancient Welsh New Year.Step into an evening woven with meditation, sound, folklore and the mystery of Mari Lwyd, the haunting white mare who wanders through the winter night, crossing thresholds and carrying echoes of an old Welsh tradition.
This is an invitation to enter the stillness between the old year and the new, a liminal space where we can release what has passed, listen deeply and make room for what is waiting to emerge.
Through guided meditation, we will journey inwards and connect with the quiet wisdom of winter before surrendering to an immersive sound bath. Let waves of vibration wash through you as you rest beneath the spell of sound, allowing the old to soften and new intentions to begin stirring in the darkness.
Together we will honour the turning of the year, the mystery of the season and the stories carried through generations across the Welsh landscape.
Come into the warmth from the winter night and join us at the threshold.
