About this Event
Join us at Golden BLK Candle Lounge for First Bloom, a solo exhibition by contemporary mixed media artist Quel Hynson.
First Bloom is a thoughtful showcase exploring the giving, cultivating, and growing of flowers in every sense of the word. Through curvature, space, texture, and intimacy, these works pose a central question:
How do you care for and tend to self in conjunction with the world around you?
Drawing from her own practice as a gardener, Hynson examines the symbiotic ties between humans and nature.
